Meet your Captain

I’ve been sailing since I was seven. First on Optimist, then Cadet, 420, and 470 - racing boats that taught me a lot about discipline, tactics, and how to respect the wind. After my competitive sailing days, I realized I wanted something different. Not just racing in circles, but actually going somewhere.

I worked as a skipper at kids' sailing camps, spent seasons guiding people around the Baltic and the Mediterranean, and in my free time, built a 5-meter ocean sailboat for long-distance racing - just to see if I could. In 2021, I sailed it solo from Lisbon to Tenerife. No engine, no crew, just me, the wind and the sea.

Now, I put everything into Beetle. I don’t just captain the boat - I fix it, maintain it, and make sure it’s always ready for the next trip. This isn’t some polished luxury charter. It’s a real sailing adventure, powered by the wind and shaped by the sea. No rush, as little as possible fuel-burning engines - just the freedom to sail.
